Another set of enraged letters
Jun. 3rd, 2009 11:21 pmDear Rob, Arnie, KRXQ Management, Radio Talent and Supporters,
FUCK YOU. [warning: trigger material regarding child abuse and transgendered issues] No, seriously. FUCK YOU. [audio of the rant and omg, it is AWFUL]
absolutely NO FUCKING LOVE EVER,
me
Dear GLAAD,
An apology? That's it? Really? Howard Stern gets fired for talking about sex. Don Imus gets fired for saying "nappy haired hos". These guys just get to apologize and move the fuck on? Seriously? They need to be fired, not given the opportunity to say some heidipology and move the fuck on.
Disappointed in you,
me
A quick summation of some of the things said during the rant. Do me a favor and don't do what I did and read the comments to the article. You'll be better off.
Dear Chipotle,
I knew there was a reason I eat at your place once a week.
Much love,
me

Date: 2009-06-04 07:53 am (UTC)Good news for Chipotle and Chipotle lovers, but that's about it. :/
I did find this is on a link trail and found it interesting. If you can, I recommend listening to the broadcast. It's just tough because it's clear that both sets of parents genuinely love and want to help their children and this just a heartbreaking thing. :(
In a perfect world, we'd all have closets full of clothes that fit us well, made us feel good about ourselves and reflected our own unique styles and personalities; our houses would be full of the things that fascinate, interest, amuse and inspire us; our partners would be loving, kind, passionate and treat us with respect; our families, friends, teachers, schools and society would treat us as the unique and interesting people we are and we would all be comfortable with the diversity each of us contains; we would be free to make the choices that are best for us and each of us would have the right to make those decisions for ourselves.
In a perfect world we could just be ourselves, whatever that meant.
In a perfect world that wouldn't be a radical thought but a commonplace reality.
