Dear Flist -

I had 4k written of my serpentinelion fic today.

When I went to save it tonight? Word crashed and now? The document opens up with boxes instead of text and then proceeds to crash word. It won't allow me to open it with wordpad and when I sent it to someone else, it crashed their word as well.

Please, I know alot of you guys are amazing computer people... please tell me there is some way of recovering this document. Please. I'm seriously borderline tears right now. It took me all day to write that 4k. I only had three more scenes to write and then I was done.

reading that just made my stomach absolutely sink. I don't know anything about computers that would help, but I'll send a prayer up to the fic gods for you, and I hope you've managed to recover it.
