wook77: (Deamus - Kiss)

First - [livejournal.com profile] postcardathon looks to be awesome. The concept is that you sign up with a character/situation that you'd like to receive a postcard from and then you get one! The only thing you have to do in return is fulfill someone else's want. How cool is that? Seriously... this rocks!

Second - [livejournal.com profile] fiona_fawkes wrote me Colati (Colin/Parvati). Even better than just this pairing is that she wrote it with [livejournal.com profile] hugs_kittens and [livejournal.com profile] pretty_vati from [livejournal.com profile] vu_network as the characters and omg it's so wonderful! GO READ THE W00BIE. Err, please? Maybe if we all shower Fi with love, she'll write me us more Colati.

Third - a little Deamus I wrote for [livejournal.com profile] queerditch_pub before work got crazy on Sunday.

Prompt:Dean/Seamus -- rainstorm
Wordcount: 356

The rain poured down on Dean as he stood outside of Seamus's flat.

It was now or never.

It was go time.

It was do or die.

Carpe Diem.

There was no turning back now.

It was the point of no return.

It was any other stupid sodding phrase that the Muggle movies had put to this moment of actualization. Dean was about to fuck up the one constant in his life since he was eleven.

He was about to confess to Seamus that he wanted so much more than friendship and had for the past three years. He'd almost lost Seamus to a curse yesterday but one small misstep on Seamus's part had avoided that sickly green light and Seamus didn't even know why Dean had panicked and smothered him.

That almost had spurred this moment - this standing in the rain, shivering from the dampness and so worried about the coming confession that Dean hadn't thought to cast a charm to keep from getting soaked.

Before he could over-think himself further, he entered the building and strode to the door of Seamus's flat, rapping his knuckles brusquely against the door.

Seamus opened then door and started to speak, "Dean? Why are you so we…" He wasn't able to finish because Dean had pressed his lips against Seamus's and kissed him as if he were the only thing and, in a way, he was.

The hands snaking into his soaked hair felt like a gift from heaven as Seamus opened his lips underneath the onslaught. Dean felt himself swirling in the moment and then the door was to his back and Seamus's hands were roaming over his body, tugging against his shirt and then oh grazing a nipple.

"God, Shay…" Dean muttered as he fisted his hands into Seamus's shirt before tugging. The buttons pinged across the floors, a happy sound that barely registered before he felt Seamus's racing heart underneath the palm of his hand.

"What took you so feckin long?" Seamus mumbled against his lips before pressing back once more. It was hungry and needy and felt like coming home.

It was perfect.

so what did you think?

It was any other stupid sodding phrase that the Muggle movies had put to this moment of actualization. *snickers* Nice. Very nice.

And you really must be pimping the shit out of your colati. I've already had a "Draco" come by and leave his remarks.
