First - I'm a bad friend as I totally forgot to say - HAPPY BIRTHDAY FABU!!!!! Please to be forgiving me for the oversight.

Second - Please forgive the dorkfest but... BWEE! slashfest had 35 claims in the first hour alone. elle113 did the majority of the coding but I helped, darnit. Ok, so I was too busy giggling and breathing a sigh of relief that this popular comm wasn't imploding on me in my first run at modding this comm.

Now, only 360-ish claims to go and every single request will have been claimed. Come on, you know you want to write for it.

BTW - if anyone would like to write for me, I made a few odd requests that I'm sure only the Star Wars peeps will get. I'd really really like my Ton Phanan/Face Loran request to be written. Like bad. I'll bribe you with cookies...

Third - Status update for those of you following my wibbling about the various challenges I've signed up for:

I claimed two things at slashfest - A Gambit/Wolverine in the movieverse and a Deamus. They both really intrigued me.
My sunandsmut can be considered done by all but a couple of people ;) They know who they are.
slashnotsmut - Got a HUGELY fantastic idea today while talking to yodels. Now, I just need to write it.



Finally - I now have AIM - so if you would like me to add you to my friends list thingy or you want to add me... comment here and I'll give you my info in a screened comment as I don't want random crazy people contacting me via AIM.

I actually went to make an involved post encouraging people to grab the SPN prompts at slashfest, which I planned to annoyingly corsspost everywhere....*takes a breath*...and when I went to pull the link to the prompts, I saw that most of them had already been claimed.

Which makes Wendy very, very happy.
