Why the Molly hate?

I was reading a craptacular story written by an author that I adore mocking.

That being said... a theme that runs throughout this author's stories is - Molly bashing/hating. I thought it was just further proof as to the craptacularness of this author but it turns out I was wrong.

It seems that there is more than one person out there that dislikes Molly for whatever reasons...

My questions to you -

Does anyone else hate on Molly and, if so, why the Molly hate?

Yes, I agree, talking to the ex-fiance was a better plan... eventually, she did. (of course, then he got deported due to his student visa running out but that's another story...)

You're quite right on the havoc creating. She does create a ton of havoc just in the books. I can only imagine the havoc she would create in real life.

I'm always interested in the motives because such great evil can come from the purest of intentions. I like that there are plenty of people on both sides... it insures that there will always be discussion and learning.

I'm toying with writing crackfic where she becomes the next DL - with the best of intentions - because Molly always knows best.

I think I may very well do that.

I think it's interesting reading over the comments that the people who didn't like Molly gave very different reasons for not liking her than the Millylovers thought they would.
