albur's birthday. Timeline's sketchy as I can't quite remember when the Council was destroyed... I'm out of practice writing KoToR so my apologies.
There were mornings that she wondered if it was worth getting out of bed. Her life was routine and though that routine brought her peace, it didn't bring her comfort when she wondered about the outcome, the fairness, of what had happened to Revan. She missed her friend, her savior, truth be known.
When Revan had disappeared beyond the Rim, Juhani hadn't worried too much. Revan had demons of her own that haunted her sleep. It was only when a year passed, then two and then three, that Juhani worried.
It also didn't help that Carth would look to her with an inscrutable expression, asking for information; salvation or damnation, anything to relieve this not knowing. Juhani didn't have any answers, even after the Council was completely assassinated and she was forced into hiding. The only benefit of hiding was that she no longer had to meet with Carth, answer his unspoken questions with a small shake of her head.
Juhani had thought the destruction of the Council would bring Revan back from the Rim but it hadn't. As much as Revan had hated the Council and how she'd been treated, she was still a Jedi and the tug of responsibility and devotion had to be as strong in her as it was in Juhani or else the tedium of hiding would be for naught.
As she sighed and wondered, she maintained the routine and picked up a tray of drinks at another table. There was always the hope that Revan would return to Tatooine and Juhani would be here in the cantina in Anchorhead waiting.
