I've just sent my merry_smutmas off to beta. I feel very accomplished. It's, IMHO, the best thing I've ever written.

I owe 99.9% of that to ficlette. I'll take credit for the .1%.

In other fandom news slashfest is up over 645 requests just waiting to be claimed in about 150 fandoms. Requests end in 4 hours from the posting of this so if you haven't requested and you've meant to, feel free to add to it.

Otherwise, there are some brilliant Harry Potter, RPS, Supernatural and, well, I could go on and on. Go take a look because claiming opens up Friday at Midnight EST (or 9pm my time which makes it really easy to deal with the ZOMG comments of claiming and not be up at all hours). Don't make me beg cause I will and I'm not pretty when I beg please claim something, please, even if that's your idea of a birthday gift, please claim and write something.

elle113 has saved my soul on this round of slashfest as I've been tempted to wook!rage a few times.

inthatcantina is pwning me. There have been some fairly entertaining exchanges but the one between Leia and Darth Vader regarding Alderaan getting blown up killed me.

Speaking of RPGs pwning me, the SO VERY HOT OWLS between Dean and Seamus at deanandseamus (London Kaaling) have owned my soul. I keep refreshing my flist to find more and more and more all day! Possessive!Dean and argumentative!Seamus and OMG, Seamus moved in with Liam and ZOMG!!!! THE TENSION AND OWLS AND THAT HOWLER!!!!

Ok, I'm done :). UST!!!!

How goes everyone's days/weeks/writing? There hasn't been much fic on my flist lately and I'm wondering about writer's block there. Then again, I'm also expecting LOADS of fic soon... right?

OMG, everytime I refreshed the flist today, I got hot and flustered from those owls and that howler? OH EM GEE. I was squeeing on AIM with a friend about them and pointing them out quite gleefully. Your boys, oh man, they kill me. OOOOHHHH, that reminds me that I wanted to friend oconel. Duh. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Also - I saw that you were a Seamus at another greatestjournal rp with someone else? When is that starting? I have every intention of stalking it watching it.

And, because I'm a pimp... *whistles innocently* There are quite a few brilliant Deamus prompts at slashfest. (Feel free to kick me for pointing this out but it's my baby) There are a few really good Harry/Ron ones as well.

I know! I was thinking the SAME thing!

It was really hard to concentrate on getting some things done for work this morning, as we were writing them then. I finally had to just turn off the computer for a while. ;) Yes, yes, go friend her!! She is lovely, lovely, lovely! ♥

Oh, yes! I am. We've written a lot already, probably 30,000 words and counting, but we're really building the universe a lot first. Once we figure out how we want to organize and share things, we'll start posting. I'll let people know on my journal. It's really cool, actually, we're planning on having the scenes from their lives jump around and build upon each other so people can watch the scenes of their friendship. :D

Oh, some of those do sound cool! But I'm worried about claiming something else when I've got smutmas to worry about. [and 50 smutlets.] Let me think on it for a bit! :D :D

Oh man, I love these boys. Dean's last owl telling Seamus why he wanted Shay to move to London? You've killed me. I did friend her cause she is le amazing!

Oh cool and I will SOOO be watching that one as well! YAYES!!! (Insert happy dance that is in my icon)

Think of it this way... you could combine one of the requests with one of your smutlets... two birds one stone. Also - and I'm trying not to spread this around BUT... we've built in extension periods that last into mid-January.

In spite of said craziness... I'm good. I have my interview tomorrow for another position in the same organisation and I REALLY want it so that's good stuff right there :).

Oh, I love them, too!! Dean is so beautifully aware of how he feels and just puts it out there. I love him so much!! And Shay is just such a wimp about things and gets scared easily. Twit. :)
