wook77: (why?)
[personal profile] wook77
I bought a new box of Midol Menstrual Complete to relieve - cramps, bloating, fatigue, backache and headache.

That's not the WTF moment...

The WTF moment is in the warnings section.

It has the following warnings -

Do not use if you have difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. (um, wtf?!)

Excitability may occur, especially in children. (um, wtf?!)

Why are men and/or children taking something to relieve menstrual cramps?

Also - If pregnant, ask a health professional before use. Do pregnant women get menstrual cramps?

isn't dom the cutest thing in this icon?

Uh ... that's weird.

ALMOST as weird as peanuts having a warning on the package that goes like "WARNING: This product has been processed in a plant that processes peanuts." And it's like, NO SHIT, REALLY?

yeah, those make me giggle as well. This one just actually stopped me, pill halfway to my mouth. I was all... do men get PMS? Do they get bloating and menstrual cramps?

Oh, don't read warnings section -- it's generally unnerving :)

It was. I actually stopped mid-taking of pills to stare at it and ponder the prostate vs pms.

Then I realised what I was doing and giggled at myself.

Me too! It had me giggling so hard. Of course, this is after the deep thoughts and ponderings of a man's prostate and what midol could do to it...

Bwahaha! I love stupid labels. I always think that it must say that because at one point, someone did that. And now they must warn as a result. :-P

:) I just want to know what midol would do to a man's prostate.

Dom is the cutest thing anyways

and when you're pregnant it's entirely possible to get cramps and PMS-y feelings around that time of the month. Or similar-feeling cramps b/c of the way your body is stretching/changing/whatever.

Warning labels are funny, no?
