Hi! So it's a fairly exciting time in my life right now, fairly busy and scattered and random.

I posted about a job possibility that came out of nowhere for an interior designer position. Well, I had the interview and the lady really likes my stuff but she'd like it to have a bit more polish. So, I'm going to tour a design school this weekend. She said "it would be a crime" if I didn't pursue this so I'm going to at least look into it. I'm looking forward to touring the school and learning a bit more.

So we finally fired our realtors. It took quite a bit of back and forth and the threatening of a lawsuit but the assholes finally let us out of our contract. The next morning, we signed with a different firm. The guys are the number 10 realtor in the Tucson area which is pretty impressive once you consider that there are over 7,000 realtors in Tucson. House got listed on the MLS listing today... hopefully it sells. I really don't want two mortgage payments.

I especially want to leave this neighborhood now. My neighbors across the street had their house get broken into while they were on the way home. Totally scary shit as it's the THIRD TIME it's happened to them. My next door neighbors had their cars broken into so many times that they installed video cameras.

New boss has officially reached the awesome stage. She totally kicked SLL's ass for her lack of attention to detail. Hopefully that means that I will have less mess to constantly be cleaning up. Also, NB (new boss from here on out) sent me to a seminar where I learned how really really out of compliance we are with a few HR laws... so I'm going to be fairly busy cleaning that up. That'll be fun, though. It's a nice challenge. Also busy teaching NB how to use our payroll software so that's fun stuff.

Been working on my serpentinelion claim and it's at about 9k and has just started the main bits of the plot. The rest is all backstory and set up. It's fairly long. Add to it that I'm pre-working on a few claims for slashfest and I'm a bit busy with that sort of thing as well. I'm also praying for a huge amount of claims and fulfilled works at slashfest because we had so many awesome and not so awesome requests.

Add to it that I kindasorta slept through my day to post the kotor_holo newsletter and I have, literally, no excuse for that. I was just tired so I went to bed at 8:30 pm last night and slept the whole way through the night until 7 am. So, um, yeah, no excuse and I deserve whatever's coming my way. I'm an ass.

I have a list that I was going to post but now that The Black Donnellys has been cancelled, I'm not sure that it's worth posting. I'll prolly do it anyway. How are all of you? I miss you guys :(.

Wow! Busy, busy, busy! Good luck with the new realtors. That can be a scary prospect to be faced with two mortgage payments. I know, we did that once - once!
And good luck to with the design school looking. Wouldn't that be so cool to do that and get paid?

It's not completely 110% official but yeah, they yanked it so I'm not all that happy about it right now. It's a good show.

It's "Tucson Design College". I'm just hoping that I don't have to draw, that's the only sticking point.

Yeah, those realtors suck donkey balls and WG gave me some really great advice so I knew what I was talking about when we were threatening a lawsuit. It was awesome :)

well, that explains why there wasn't a preview even though tvguide had listed a new ep for next week. i wish we could at least know what was up with the bigger concept--like, the entire story is told in flashbacks, but what happened to get the narrator [am blanking on his name] into jail?

You know, I'm tempted to get you a stapler on a leash. That way, you can pick it up and throw it at people's backs as they walk away from you. But since it's on a leash, it won't actually hit them and you get the benefit of rage release without the nasty side effect of a restraining order and anger management therapy.

And also, I just totally bought birthday gifts for like three people on that site I was showing you today. I did not, however, indulge in the gummy bacon or the corndog air freshener for the car.
