Catch All and Catch Up

Finished and submitted by biowarebang fic but it looks like my artist dropped with no notice to anyone. So, um, yayes? This always seems to happen to me. I am normally the one that gets the pinch hit and, in all attempts to not be snarky, you can sort of tell the pinch hits.

The post office is fucking with me, yet again. I don't understand how they can continue to justify their existence when they fail so miserably.

I had a professional photographer come take pictures of my dogs for the "Hot Dogs of Tucson" calendar as I won the page for June. You can see my dogs here. You also get to see bits of my backyard. I'll prolly post a link to the calendar when it's available cause my puppies are the cutest.

I saw Deathly Hallows. As far as I'm concerned, Deamus is now movie canon. I had my qualms with HBP but this one really hit the mark. There were disappointments but for the most part, best acted and best part of the series. I enjoyed it a lot.

I'm writing for bb_shousetsu for this round. I'm about 90% done with it. Anyone up for a beta of original fic? It's sitting at about 11k right now.

I'm playing through Fable 3 again. I love this game.

Work continues to stress me out. We're closing the fiscal year and it's the worst close we've ever had. I was basically in tears by the end of Friday. So fucking horribly stressful. The weather isn't helping as it's really humid (shut up, 50% humidity is awful) and we've been having major air pressure changes and my head aches all the time from it. I've had a migraine and/or headache since last Saturday and it doesn't look like that's going to change anytime soon.

Date didn't happen. He wussed out about 45 minutes beforehand so whatever. Fuck him.

Thank you for all the chocolate heads, guys! I sent out about a billion of them because they're totally fun :D

I didn't mention, but I'm in Tucson until the 27th if your schedule frees up for a meal or something. Would love to visit with you and Emi (if she's still around, no idea!)

IDK about Emi. She sort of disappeared. I think she has a case of the RLs and it's overwhelming her? IDK I miss her though :(

My bbs are amazing, I have to say. I really lucked out in the cuteness area, especially. I think Kuka (the big cream colored one) decided to go for cute instead of manners, though, when he was picking out his attributes.

Hee! My bbs are adorkable, I have to say.

I am so jealous that you got to see it with a ton of fandom peeps. I got to see it with my sister who hadn't seen HBP let alone DH1 so I spent a lot of time explaining it to her. BUT it really reminded me how much I love the books and the movies. Plus, she's finally agreed to read the books!

The post office lost two of my six boxes which pisses me off to no end. Like, how do they do that? The one box, I have to file an insurance claim for. The other one got back to me yesterday but still. What are they doing?!

i have never had problems with shipping and the only problem i had with a christmas card was that one of my gluesticked on labels got torn and sent back.

is it the same PO that gives you issues every time? I use the affiliate near my house and the post office inside the chevron station near work.

the only thing i have going next week is The sci fi fantasy meetup @ Zachary's on Wednesday and Games night saturday night (both of which you should totally come to. let me know what works best for you.

Okay also can we talk for a minute about how HOT Dean is? Because he is seriously smokin'. Of course, no one I saw the movie with had any idea who he was, so going "OMG DEAN IS SO TALL! AND HANDSOME!" did nothing but like. WOW.

Dude. YES. DEAN IS SMOKING. Like. Every time he would appear on the screen, I would do this dorky giddy giggle (well, him and seamus, too) and my sister would elbow me and then I would do dork hands and flail and then she would elbow me so then I would do both at the same time.

Dean and Seamus are AMAZING. Like - Dean is just fucking awesome on his own but then you get them leaning together at the end and you're all OMG MY HEART IS ALL AFLAIL IN SHIPPER GLEE THANK YOU JKR FOR THIS MOMENT OF LOVE and, um, yeah.

Thank you! They're freaking awesome dogs, I must say. Plus, four is better. They're all so distinct from one another but, honestly? They're super easy to care for. None of them are super needy or anything so I forget that four dogs seems like a lot to people because they're not that big of a deal to me.

Plus, my boss has 6 dogs and 4 cats so I figure I'm all right for now. And four of her 6 dogs are medical special needs. She's got 3 tripod dogs (three legs instead of 4) and one is a major burn victim. So my guys are easy in comparison.
