Oh Great Flist - help me, you're my only hope.

The little round button on the very bottom of my iPhone randomly stopped working. Thus, to switch apps, I have to power down the phone and power it back up. Is there a way to fix this or am I fucked?

I have about a day's worth of patience for these sorts of shenanigans so if you have any ideas, please lay them on me as quickly as you can. I'd really rather not pay for a new phone, especially the iPhone 4G with the wonderful touch spot but I will if I have to buy a new phone.

I'm not interested in a Droid so telling me to get a Droid ain't gonna be helpful.

I'm not sure how large the techno-community of AZ is, but one can usually find a few reputable options on craigslist if you type in iPhone repair. There are LOADS of them in LA, and a few of them in MN, so I'm going to assume that there are a few in AZ, too. The prices, if I recall, aren't too bad. Cheaper than a new phone.
