wook77My birthday ROCKED.
The best part is that my birthday sort of started on the 22nd. Does anyone else do this? You start celebrating your birthday at the time you were born? Cause the time I was born was at 1253am EST. Which means 953pm on the 22nd. So I got a song and birthday wishes from my family then. We've always started the celebration at the time the person was born so IDK, maybe it's more proof that I'm weird.
Anyway - so work yesterday sucked BUT... I got carrot cake for my birthday which rocked hardcore. Then today at work, I got strawberry shortcake cake and turtle tuxedo cake (wooohoo! one I can eat and one for everyone else... I like having my own cake). I also had creme brulee for breakfast. Then I came home and got MORE cake and it had Star Wars figures on it (yayes for Palpatine/Vader fight scene on my cake!)!
I got lots of birthday wishes and emails and posts and voicemails and text messages. I <3 you all for them! Every time work threatened to suck my happiness away before gnawing out my girl bits like a sparkly stalking obsessive compulsive controlling vampire, one of you all contacted me and wished me a good day. It really really made it so worthwhile.
As far as gifts go - I get my haircut tomorrow paid for, some Star Wars books, Fable 2 for the xbox360, a my little pwnies shirt and a stfu t-shirt. We're also going shoe shopping on Saturday. We're also going to Nightfall on Saturday. Plus - I got to take a huge nap and have homemade stromboli. Can you ask for a better birthday dinner? I think not.

Not quite that, but I am a fan of "birthday week," whereby the celebrations continue for seven solid days surrounding the actual date. ;)
