I also got a random cold five hours ago. Like seriously - my throat just randomly got sore and swollen while I have a half-baked cough. I'd like it to be healthy tiem nao, plzkthx.

I bought these coldeeze things that are supposed to help. Anyone try them? Do they actually work or did I just piss away 7 bucks?

Bought a bicycle to start biking to Fry's from my house. I figure I'll drive home, park the car and then bike in and then bike home. I hope I don't get hit at midnight. Stupid drivers on stupid unlit streets in stupid unlit Southern Arizona where the stupid astronomers actually *gasp* don't want stupid light pollution (I kid on the astronomers thing but not on the lack of street lamps on the main street that people drag race down).

I have to be up in 4 hours and yet... I cannot sleep. Stupid insomnia. It's not like I don't have to process payroll tomorrow today or anything :/.

I want a new moodtheme... I'll have to make one up this weekend if I can find the time.

Halfway done with my RSFQF fic. That's sort of what I did today instead of working.

Bo Diddley passing makes me sad :(. I keep telling everyone about the Bo Don't Know Diddley commercial from the "Bo Knows..." Nike marketing campaign. He really was awesome, wasn't he? God I love his music. RIP, Bo.

In honor of why_me_why_not's birthday - I present the Top Five Reasons why why_me_why_not is awesome.

1.) She catches every single comma error I make and doesn't get pissed off if I don't correct all of them as I hate commas before "and".

2.) I can send something to her at five pm, tell her it's needed to be posted in the morning and it'll be there by the posting time. She never chastises me for being late and never complains (at least to me :D). This includes other things than beta jobs. When I got stuck working on the opening night of each round of slashfest this time around, she stepped up and between her and miz_thang88, the entire fest ran so smoothly. I wouldn't have been ble to do it without either one of them.

3.) She listens to everyone's problems and offers all this fantastic advice. Her life might be chaos but she makes you feel so very important while you're talking to her.

4.) She's a very talented writer in a wide variety of fandoms. I'll even read random stuff in fandoms I've never heard of because why_me_why_not wrote it.

5.) She's an amazing friend and an even better person. I can think of very few people that are as multi-faceted, caring, amazing, pimptastic, supportive and gung-ho. (See? no comma :P)

I'd planned on having a story or a picspam or something in honor of her day but, as always, shit happens, rocks fall and I'm stuck working ungodly amounts of hours. So - instead, she just gets a big ole Happy Birthday from me. ILU.
