In honor of why_me_why_not's birthday - I present the Top Five Reasons why why_me_why_not is awesome.

1.) She catches every single comma error I make and doesn't get pissed off if I don't correct all of them as I hate commas before "and".

2.) I can send something to her at five pm, tell her it's needed to be posted in the morning and it'll be there by the posting time. She never chastises me for being late and never complains (at least to me :D). This includes other things than beta jobs. When I got stuck working on the opening night of each round of slashfest this time around, she stepped up and between her and miz_thang88, the entire fest ran so smoothly. I wouldn't have been ble to do it without either one of them.

3.) She listens to everyone's problems and offers all this fantastic advice. Her life might be chaos but she makes you feel so very important while you're talking to her.

4.) She's a very talented writer in a wide variety of fandoms. I'll even read random stuff in fandoms I've never heard of because why_me_why_not wrote it.

5.) She's an amazing friend and an even better person. I can think of very few people that are as multi-faceted, caring, amazing, pimptastic, supportive and gung-ho. (See? no comma :P)

I'd planned on having a story or a picspam or something in honor of her day but, as always, shit happens, rocks fall and I'm stuck working ungodly amounts of hours. So - instead, she just gets a big ole Happy Birthday from me. ILU.

1.) *leaps to defence of birthday girl, whom I do not know!* Commas before "and" are not optional (love 'em or hate 'em) if the "and" is linking two independent clauses in a sentence. Only the serial/Oxford comma (i.e. the comma that precedes "and" before the last item in a list) is a matter of stylistic choice. Though why would anyone want to say "Thank you to my parents, Ayn Rand and God"?
