photo not-really-meme-sort-of-thing

Fic tomorrow but for today - kaalee wanted pictures of my feet and wendy wanted pictures of my new house. We're still finishing up crap (slowest unpacking evah) but I've taken a few of some of the cooler bits of the painting I've been doing. I also took a few photographs during a lull in one of the monsoon storms while getting off the highway (yes, I was stopped at the time for most of them).

Anyone else have anything they'd like to see? As long as it isn't horribly embarrassing, I'm more than willing. I have to go buy a cord for the camera as my father took it with him when he went back to PA (even though it didn't fit his camera) but I'll upload as soon as I get a chance.

After DH - I've noticed a change in my reading habits. I'm reading quite a bit more het and gen than I ever did. More than that, I'm writing more het and gen than I did before. I've even experimented with making some of my favorite slash pairings into het pairings and vice versa.

What I'm curious about is if you all have done the same? Are you reading more het? Are you reading about new characters? Are you shipping new ships? Have you changed your preferences around?

And what better way to ask this than a poll?
