Title: A Bad Costume Decision

Wordcount: 250 words exactly
Warnings: Fluff and cuteness abound.
Summary: It's Harry's turn to pick costumes for a party. Draco's not amused.
Challenge Details: October is here. The end of the year for some. This month's challenge is to tell a Halloween/Samhain tale in 250 words (exactly). Spooky, romantic, terrifying or fun, you decide. Use at least three items commonly associated with the holiday. As always, Harry and Draco must be the primary pairing.

A/N: My three items - costumes, party and magic. Inspired by a random comment in someone else's journal (cannot remember who said it and where they posted it) about envisioning the pair in the mentioned costumes. If you were the one to make the comment, please let me know and I will be more than happy to credit! As always, concrit welcomed with open arms.

Say it

I've been having a rough time lately. I have things I want to say to people and I just can't. I realize that we have all experienced that.

I'm opening up this entry to everyone to post, anonymously if you wish, whatever you wish to say to someone but can't. Don't say who, instead, just say that one phrase that is kicking around in your head that you can't express in any other way.

Whether it's an "I love you" to someone beyond the grave or your reach, an "I hate you sometimes" to someone near and dear to your heart, a "why me" to whichever deity you worship, say it.


My one phrase?


"Why can't you see me as me?"
