Fandom Update

I've always sort of wanted to do this and, thus - reveals are in a little bit so last minute "Guess my Fic!"

I wrote two stories at hp_springsmut - go ahead and guess them. I'd love a reason as to why you think I wrote something. If you beta'd one/both - you are not allowed to guess :D:D:D.

And while it's still anonymous - let me pimp the not one but TWO amazing gifts I received!

Love is a Hard Waltz. It's Seamus/Lavender (thus, het alert!). It's beautiful in the steadiness of Seamus and the moodiness of Lavender. The two really read true to how I see both characters. It's a love story at its heart and that's exactly what I wanted between these two. The way that the author dealt with Lavender's scarring (one of my obsessions since DH) and is just... GAH. Seamus is fumbly and boyish and romantic and brilliant. Lavender is vain and shy and moody and beautiful. They're both just so awesome. Plz to go read and heap love on the author.

A Simple Misunderstand. Dean/Seamus (thus, slash alert!). I just. gah. Dean. Oh Dean. You and your cock and your talking to your cock and the hilarity of this story. The way that the ending is so exactly what I love and... and EVERYTHING. This story is just brilliant but if I give you anything more, I might just ruin the ending for you. Go read and heap lots of love here, too!

Just in case you missed it - hd_worldcup started posting. Can I just squee for a moment and tell you that the co-mods are absolutely brilliant? Seriously. They are. I would be a gibbering pile of goo right now if not for the way that they've all pitched in and made everything run so smoothly. Sure, there's been a few hiccups but no one's perfect (me less than most, I'll admit). Almost everyone has been rather awesome about the hiccups and such, too.

Am debating on what I want to request/sign up for at hp_summersmut. I wrote for it as a pinch hitter last year and had a blast. Plus - I have to say that the mod is rather made of win (and no, it isn't me).

slashfest closed Round VI and had an almost 50% drop rate. o.O I wrote three stories (in, err, 4 fandoms as one was a crossover) for it which I will be posting here eventually. I also need to repost my valensmut submission. *fails at fandom*

I'm busy writing my rs_games story. In addition - I've written another 5k on that giant deamus. It's going to the first beta job on Saturday and will then be posted as a WIP. I'm at almost 50k right now. I think I'm far enough along that I won't abandon it (plus - I love the story too much! and I fear nefernat and miz_thang88 too much)

I'll have a real life update soon. Suffice it to say that bless the maker that tomorrow (today!) I have all day off from both jobs. I don't think I shall get out of my pjs all day.

Ok. I'm going to guess. And I'm probably going to guess wrong, but I think you might've written What Is And What Could Be and maybe Of Quidditch, Trains and Footie Matches (though the AN in that one doesn't sound like you, so I would say maybe.) The first one I'm so sure about, for some reason. It kind of sounds like you, it includes pairings that I think you love, and kind of fits.

Well, I don't know why I thought the A/N didn't sound like you. Because now that I think about it, it does very much - especially the "all the remaining mistakes are my own" part, since you add that in most of your fics. :P I guess I was thrown off my the heart and the length of the A/N. Again, don't ask. :D

P.S. Also, I should've recognized your regular betas by the initials. Will go off now and hope I don't sound like a creepy stalker...

I hate to sound like a downer but I am planning on staying in bed most of the day and napping 24/7. Though the bug guy is coming in about 10 minutes so I have to move outside. But - yes. Napping. However, I'm off this weekend, if you'd want to get together or something :D.

Um, yeah :/. That's why the silence and the stressing and the omgwtf sort of moods :D.

hd_worldcup has gotten some really positive responses on the whole. I don't think it'd be a fest or H/D or HP Fandom if there wasn't at least one speshul snowflake in the bunch. (And that speshul snowflake is probably me *see above comment on moods* :D:D)

I am VERY well today! Have all day today off and have assumed the position - in bed and ready to nap. Though I'm hungry and sort of want food to miraculously appear. Wouldn't Accio be brilliant to have in real life. I could totes summon the breakfast that's waiting for me downstairs.
