my writings and the poorman.net
Jun. 14th, 2005 10:19 amI've finally overcome my hurdle of writer's block for my KOTOR fics, "What Dreams May Come" and "Exiled No Longer". It's nice to be able to keep going on them and the positive feedback is absolutely wonderful! It's also entertaining to keep people guessing where I'm going with the stories.
I'm about ready to try my hand at posting a Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy slash story... I just have to edit it and post.
Ok, so here's a recommendation to a wonderful blog for all you liberals out there... http://www.thepoorman.net is probably the most entertaining blog that I've come across for political commentary. His dry wit and sarcastic commentary keeps me laughing about situations that otherwise would have me snatching myself bald in frustration and anger. From calling democrats "demon-crats" to calling bill clinton the "clenis" and never forgetting to mention the fact that Michael Moore has to be wrong because he's fat (my favorite right-wing attack on MM), I pop in daily and chuckle. Sure, I'm still upset about crap, but at least I'm no longer raging worse than Howard Dean.
The ads on the site also make me chuckle (today, there was an advertisement for "the shocking book George W Bush really doesn't want you to read... Richard Scarry's Counting Book")
Finally, am actually working at work today... shock of all shocks. The end of a fiscal year really sucks.
