hp_bb was really entertaining tonight.




OMG, dung? He's far too hilarious. I especially loved when Blaise, Draco and Dung were having their conversation. Then Dung calling Draco "madarme" just killed me.

I also loved big brother chastising Bella for using magic. She was so classically done there, very patronizing and snobby. The quoting the definition of champagne by bb? Hi-frikken-larious.

I also loved Drunk!Snape. The dissertation as to the structural integrity of the wall? *ded*

Dung's userpics? frikken hilarious as well, especially the bearded one.

Blaise's userpics? smoking hot. I can't quite decide if I want to toss over Edgar Ramirez for this dude. Hmmm, maybe I'll compromise and say both, please.

Draco's default userpic? awesome as well.

I really loved how Draco tried to move into the main room. That made me laugh.

What's up with Bella and Lucius being all buddy buddy?

Snape's little aside with Dung was really well played as well.

All the IC comments. Everyone seems to have a good grasp on their characters. I'm loving how each of them are playing their characters.

Rant - I was looking in the watcher journal and it kind of amazed me people aren't giving an open mind to the pairings, especially considering that gameplay has just started. One thing that really struck me was the series about how "Blaise can't be with Harry because Draco has to be with Harry". Honestly, that kind of pisses me off and here's why - it is up to the PLAYERS not the watchers to decide the pairings. Let the game unfold how it will. If Dung ends up having a threesome with Snape and Bella, then that is what the players decided.

I don't need Harry and Draco to be together in this RPG. Why? Because that's not my determination and it wasn't a pre-set conclusion. I didn't go into watching this because it was pre-determined to be a H/D RPG. Instead, I went into it assuming that some or none were going to pair up.

I'm just going to sit back and watch the play unfold. If the pairing ends up Harry/Blaise or Harry/Snape/Bella/Lucius/Mophandle then that's the way it ends up. I'll be entertained irregardless.

Besides, at this point, Draco is really the only one that is out there as gay. Harry could determine himself to be straight. After all, in one comment somewhere in there (I think the showdown with Draco and Blaise and Dung) he even "thinks" that he hasn't decided if he is one or the other or both. Blaise is flirting with anyone and everyone. It doesn't mean that he is going to hook up with ANYONE. Hell, he was flirting with Bella there for a bit or at least that's how I read it.

I just hate when people are so fixated on their OTP that they make snap judgements 24 hours into something. Hell, I'm a H/D shipper OTP'er to the core. That doesn't mean that I can force people into doing what I want.

I can totally see the players changing their intentions because of the comments on the watcher's journal. I can see Blaise going - well maybe I shouldn't flirt with Harry anymore because otherwise all those H/D people will boot me so Harry and Draco can be together. I can also totally see Draco changing his mind so that the Snarry people don't boot him for hooking with Harry so that Snape has a chance with Harry instead. Sure, I'm quite sure that people are going to protest and say, no I won't vote because of that reasoning but it'll still be there in the backs of the minds when the voting occurs.

Dislike - Harry's lipstick userpic scares me for some reason. It's so effeminate and just weird. I don't like the colors in it.

Dislike - I don't like Blaise's journal colors. You can't see the "comments" stuff, that blue is lost against the white.

Dislike - The different faces for Seamus. I don't like anyone in an RPG that has different people in every icon. I like being able to see the same person in various poses or whatever so I can look at a glance and recognize the character in the thread by the userpic.

I agree with a lot of your points. Dung is rocking my socks off. He just sort of 'appears' everywhere and has the best lines. And that bit with Draco and telling him it's ok to be gay... Heh. I like Draco in this, btw. He's played very well.

About Bella... OMG, I was dancing around singing, "Bella's getting in trouble..." and BB is fucking fantastic. The champaign quote made me laugh a LOT!

Who is Blaise using for userpics? Am I really that far out of the celeb loop? And what's PB? (is woefully inept at watching RPG's)

I haven't trolled around any of the player journals... I think I'll do that soon.

Also, I'd like to see some crazy rarepairs come out of this RPG. Just sayin'

Have no idea on the blaise pb character. (PB is played by or the person in the userpics... you should join vu_network and rpg more... /pimping) I think it's an unknown, personally cause if anyone was that smoking hot and I'd seen them, I'd remember them.

If BB had inforced it though, Bella would be outta the game really too early. I think BB should have made some sort of announcement about it, reminder of the rules and use it as a warning for all of the characters.

I would join but I don't think I'd be very good at doing a RPG. They intimidate the hell outta me and I'm not even used to following them. This is one of the first ones I've watched and been able to understand. So, maybe a bit more watching is in line for me before I try to RPG.

Rarepairs... yes... Harry/Blaise/Luna (I hadn't thought about that... that might be hot.) Heh... did you see Dung hovering over Snape? Perhaps Snape/Dung... heeheheheheheheh.

I agree, I think it would have been too early to boot someone. And I don't think Bella forgot the rules, I think she was testing them. That was quite IC for her... I admire her player for that move, it was a risk but it was entertaining.

I'm trying so hard to keep away from hp_bb! LJ sucks up enough of my life as is. :P That said, your post lured me into the first few entries and I can see how addictive it can be. I'm thanking the heavens that I never got involved in an RPG during my studies...it would've been a total disaster (the study, that is, not the RPG...heh).

You are so right about Dung, he is freaking fantastic! And drunk!Snape is so classic that I almost cried laughing.

I agree with you about players reading the watcher journal and possibly changing their game plan, but, you know, in the end, I think that if they tried to keep everyone happy they'd get voted out anyway, cos they'd be seen as being boring.

I know I was guilty of saying that my fangirly heart wants Harry to end up with Draco, but if he doesn't it won't take anything away from my enjoyment of the game. My vote to evict will be based on characters that don't add much to the enjoyment - ie, those that have very little input or influence on the game. I certainly won't be voting Blaise out of he keeps on flirting with Harry, nor Snape or Harry himself if they end up together. I just wanna read fun interesting rpg and so far, hp_bb is giving it to me.

Oh, and BB telling Bella off? Absolutely fantastic!!! I want BB.

Dung is freaking hilarious. He's like chaos in a person... he goes in to an inocuous conversation, says somethng, chaos erupts and then he leaves. Too funny! And his fear of chickens? I can't wait to see how bb uses that! (BTW, why the hell is there a chicken coop there anyway????)

I really hope they don't change their play. I like this blaise and this harry, which is why I was a little upset with all the fangirling about OTP. I'm as OTP as you get but I'm willing to ride wtih this one and I just wanted other people to realize that they shouldn't try to control the gameplay with the OTP thing.

But really, the pairing I want is Harry/Blaise/Draco. Seriously, my fantasies will be complete if it does end up that way.tatic.

I'll be voting the same... very little input or influence. If they aren't there, they're out because I have no attachment to them. As it is, I'm already really attached to most of the players!

Gosh...I had to play catch up all this morning after Sue made a note of it in her lj! So yes...I love this RPG like no other and Merlin knows where that arse contest came from. Alcohol is your friend. And I think I will have to check out the watcher journal. Because people really shouldn't be that critical over ships expecially. What can you expect from wizards living under Big Brother's authority?

And I loved Snape for walking into a wall. And yelling about Death Eater Chickens. Priceless.
