I've mentioned in the recent past how much I hate Valentine's Day. This one was worse than normal - I had my annual review today. It didn't go all that badly but it still was not what I hoped for. My boss is very linear, very angular. I, on the other hand, am fairly right brained (even if I can't draw worth a shite). So, it's rare that we see eye to eye. At least my boss is willing to consider other people's opinions on stuff, which is more than I can say about previous bosses.

YAY that Valentine's Day is over. YAY that my review is over. YAY for updating Voice in the Dark.

I have a few challenges to write for -

hp_crossovers (2 prompts although 1 is fairly well done. Of course, I wrote the last one due first.)

sunandsmut - it's fairly easy to do as it's slash instead of het. *SQUEE*

unexpected_task - An interesting challenge that I'm actually looking forward to writing. Bought the books today (I used it for justification as to why I needed to buy new books. My wallet bought the excuse *winks*).

I also have successfully submitted my

hpvalensmut and

hp_springsmut stories. So, I'm anxious to see how well received they are as poor

anael and

janicechess had to put up with my *wibbling* about plot, etc. during the writing of those two and

luciology and

yodels helped out big time as well.

How is it that I can post a meme and get more original responses than a ficlet I posted? *ponders*

With that, I'm off for bed to pull the covers over my head and pretend that Valentine's Day doesn't exist.
