Jun. 12th, 2006 08:56 amI very rarely post something like the following and I've realized that's because I'm more apt to be sarcastic and snarky than anything else.
Instead of that, though, I'm going to try to be positive. It's Monday, I had a rough weekend and could use it. If I'm in that position, I'm sure others of you are as well.
So here goes - some inspirational quotations on friendship and interactions with other people from Eleanor Roosevelt. (Source)
No one can make you feel inferior without your permission.
Friendship with oneself is all-important, because without it one cannot be friends with anyone else in the world.
Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't.
Learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself.
Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people.
The last is particularly important as you all discuss amazing ideas and stories and creativity. You all brighten my day with all of your posts.
