So I'm sitting at the airport in Vegas. It's been amazing and fun and exciting and overwhelming and frustrating and just so many other words that I can't think of them.

Expect a more coherent post when I'm not feeling morose and stressed. I have 4 hours before I'm allowed to check into my flight so I can make it to the gate where there is a power available for my computer. Fucking asshat designers of this airport didn't think to install power outlets where us poor sots stuck at the airport could use them when there is no one at the check in counter.

Okaly dokaly, am off to sleep in a fairly uncomfortable chair... wish me luck.

This would be me attempting sleep using my suitcase and a t-shirt as a pillow. It didn't quite work very well.

No! That would be LOVELY to meet for tea! We keep talking about heading to the SW US because I am desperate to go there. I had a very close friend in college from Santa Fe and then with my obsession with god Barbara Kingsolver, I'm desperate to go to Tucson, as well.

Wouldn't it? The weird thing about the meeting for tea thing is that I don't drink tea but I was and it was very good. I think it was chai, so I might have to try some of it to see if I do like that :). Oh man, when I first came to Tucson, I went looking for the Jesus is Lord Tire Shop but, alas, it doesn't exist. I did, however, find the tire shop she used as inspiration.

Copilot sounds like he rocks hardcore for being so amazing with the boys being part of it :). There were some really awesome husbands/significant others at Lumos that were really cool about the fangirling over slash and things. It was very cool.

hahahaha, I made myself start drinking tea. I was... 23, maybe? And I just knew that there were all these great teas that I was missing out on. I'm not a tea purist or any such thing. There is a lot I like and a lot I don't. :) But I can make you chai or any number of things. Also! I have coffee and hot chocoate. So if you're ever out my way, then I shall make many hot beverages.

omg, you found the inspiration for the JiL tire shop?? that's fantastic! Have you read her essays: Small Wonder? I'm unpacking books [literally, as we comment. I unpack a box and then come sit at the comp.] and I'm desperate to find it, because I want to have it on my nightstand.

He really does. I'm quite happy [and lucky] to have someone that just *gets* the ways that we're different and it doesn't bother him. Though, he's generally not to interested in reading anything above a PG13. *snicker* And he'll only read something if I specifically ask him to.

I was at Borders about a month and a half ago and had a coffee that wasn't too bad but I'm never going to be a coffee drinker. Tea, I'll try :)

Yea, I think I did. It had a similar sign and things. I'll find it again and take pictures for you now that I have a digital camera :) I have read it but only the once and I should probably just go buy it.

Dom is lovely and that chest is quite purty as well. I did a Blaise in an RPG that I used this tattoo'd model from getty images and I loved his chest. I should probably load that icon into my regular rotation of icons... but dom is my addiction because of the rpg I'm in. He's the pb for Creepy Colin Creevey and I play Parvati who's head over heels for him.

The icon is just for how very much I want a diet coke right now. The hotel only had pepsi products and it was awfully painful.

ahhh, yes. One day I shall make a diet coke icon as well. It's quite my obsession. It was what I drank in college to stay awake. :)

Ahh, I quite understand becoming obsessed with the PB of the character with whom you play. It's one of the reasons I'm obsessed with James Blake, as he was the PB a friend used for Dean and is the one she's using for a project we've just started. *obsesses* And he's going to be in town this week for a tennis tournament. :D I'm going to try to get tickets. ;)

I have about 40 minutes until they start to board the plane. My flight takes off at 7:10 so I figure boarding around 6:45.
