Spent my lunch hour cruising youtube cause I wanted to see if there was video of Ann Coulter getting smacked down by George Carlin when they appeared on the Jay Leno show. I found the video of the appearance but for over 7 minutes of the almost 9 minute video, George just sat there and that crazynazihomophoberacist Ann Coulter just kept babbling on. I couldn't take any more of her insane batshit psuedo-intellectual babble any longer than 7 minutes. So, maybe George put the smackdown on her in the last 2 minutes. Let me know if you can stomach it.

However, when I did my search with the terms "Ann Coulter" (and yes, it hurts every time I have to picture her wingnut head and that fucking annoying hairflip thing she does and that condescending tone of voice and the way she drags out the ends of words and... *breathes*), I found some amazingly brilliant pieces.

I didn't know that Henry Rollins did comedy. Really, I didn't. I just thought he was a former rockstar with no neck. But he can be really funny.

Dear FCC by Henry Rollins where he asks why the FCC allows all the violence but none of the sex.

Dear Ann - Anything that starts out "where to now, my sweet fascist" when addressing Ann will always intrigue me. He's very hilarious with the job offer.

Dear Laura Bush - where he asks how the hell an educated woman can put up with a man that resembles Curious George.

This is all being added to, but here's what I've got now...

Tycho's staya: red, with three silver stripes (noble, third-ranked house) along the top edge, two embroidered over-lapping skewed four-pointed silver stars bounded in black centered, bottom is fringed—some have gold beads on them (representing officially-recognised accomplishments, and the fact that he has royal blood)—this and the ankle-length white gown are traditional Alderaanian burial garb, given unadorned but for house crest as coming-of-age (usu. 16)

Crest of the Resplendent Nova—two over-lapping skewed four-pointed silver stars in a black circle on a red field. Were this canon, she would have been the Millenium Falsehood. But this isn't canon, and the Wraiths never came into existence, so she's a worn-out old piece of junk in need of a lot of work and TLC. It is unknown precisely how Wedge acquired her, but Booster and Mirax Terrik come immediately to mind. Comes with a sullen R2, Nilena, who came with her name. She claims that a memory wipe will also wipe out all of her programming, because of a virus. Neither Litir nor Sedex is ready to try it.

Q'zir Sedex (Tycho Celchu) claims Myrkrish descent (considering Alderaanians too small a population, and figuring that his chances of being recognised are too great) and is fluent in Neti; fond of singing song tr. 'Rather Disturb the Vornskr in His Lair than the Sage Among His Books,' attributed popularly to Jedi Master Ood Bnar. Left (blind) eye follows the right, but sometimes lags a bit. He is first seen washing dishes in the One-Armed Jawa cantina on Tatooine, living hand-to-mouth after escaping Padorja. He is at first attempting to make his way back to his former life, but after 'visiting' with the Rogues while aboard Nova, he realises that this is no longer possible. Instead, he works on supporting the Republic in…less official…ways. Hired by Litir as copilot/gunner/cook of the Nova, first week: room and board, but once Litir is sure Sedex is fine flying (what with the blind eye), he gives him 30%. At the end of Emergence, when Litir/Wedge returns to the Rogues, he gives his 70% to Sedex (whose true identity remains unknown), who hires Corran and passes on his 30%. Recognises Litir as Wedge, almost at first sight—definitely within the first couple of days.

How far have you written this?

The reason I ask is that if I overplot a story before I write, than I find that I can't write the story any longer because I have these huge expectations in my head.

I always do a lot of notes before I write. I already have about two times as much information as is there.

Or I could be procrastinating writing the big 'death' scene.

When do you expect to be online tonight, if at all? Just, rough guess.

No idea. I have about 4 extremely disparate stories due by end of month so I'm fairly busy with that.

If I get a story done, I'll reward myself with some internet time.
