I've come to a realization over the past few days.

I don't think I can claim that I'm a OTPer any longer. I've been expanding the number of pairings that I read and I have to tell you... H/D is still my favorite but it's not my only anymore.

I've really been reading Dean/Seamus ALOT. I really love these boys.

I think what finally clinched this for me was that, when signing up for the

hpslashnotsmut exchange, I didn't request H/D... at all.

I feel slightly sad about this. Almost as if I'm cheating on my husband with some other dude. It feels weird.

But there it is.

Does this mean that H/D will cease to exist in my journal? Nope. See above comment about it still being my favorite. I'm still writing for

hd_365. I signed up for the

hd_remix. H/D is amazing... I just want to see other pairings as well.

/justifying to poor spouse.

1.) I plotted out my

sunandsmut story. I'm psyched to write it although I'm not all that sure the giftee will like it. But, I really like the concept and I ran it past

wildegirl_05 today and she seemed to like it. As I can't tell you who the giftee is (err, um, stating the obvious, wook????), I can't tell you the details of this plot either.

But, suffice it to say that it's brilliant in my head. I can see every frikken detail of it. I've never had that for a story in my life.

2.) I had class last night and spent most of it plotting out the above referenced story. However, that being said... I still ended up with the highest grade for class participation and my presentations. Had an interesting confrontation with a wanker who can't follow instructions and it is, of course, my fault that he's so incompetent and that the professor points it out to him in front of the rest of us. I can't help that he chose the same country I did BEFORE class started and that I actually followed directions. Take that, you whinging wanker!

3.) I'm actually going to finish my degree in October. It's taken 11 1/2 years to get to this point. Instead of taking a break, I'm going straight into Grad School. I'm going to apply at Golden Gate University in San Francisco as my ex-fiance lives there and I can have a cheap place to live but be close to the industry I want to be in while working and blah blah blah. Hopefully, I get in.

4.) I've been in a horribly shit-tastic mood for days and I apologize to anyone and everyone I've "taken it out on". Just because a few people decide to wank on me doesn't mean that I should either a.)wank back or b.) piss and moan about it to everyone and anyone. So, apologies all around for that.

By now... I'm sure you're all thinking what's in my icon so... I'll leave it there.

ETA: This just fits too well... I happened to have consumed a maple-frosted donut from Krispy Kreme this morning while... not even five minutes ago... I consumed a strawberry filled donut from Dunkin' Donuts.
