wook77If it weren't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any right now.
My computer got fried, so my stuff is being transferred to a new computer... but I'm thinking that the porn I have on it might be getting read even now by people that should not be reading it.
Then, this morning on the way in to work... a 18 Wheeler backed out onto the street - conveniently right into my front end. Yep... I got hit by a rig. Thankfully, it was just the back tire of the rig that hit my already-dinked front end. So, I'm probaby going to need a new bumper just like I did before (and SQUEE FOR NOT HAVING TO PAY FOR IT) and a front end alignment and some other little stuff (like a new paintjob and such). I'm going at lunch for the quotation and the dude is going to pay for it as I've gotten all his information and such. Otherwise, I go to my insurance and have them fight it out with his insurance.

hd_365 from yesterday to recreate as it's not here and I'm a bit worried.

ETA: Forgot to mention that I walked out of work yesterday with my parting words being, "I don't have time for this bullshit" and then this morning I got to say "I told you so". I'm a bad person because I enjoyed that moment way too much.
We're trying to close the month (err, you all know I do accounting, right?) and I gave my coworker a list of things that needed to be done before we could close the month this morning at 10am. She kept interrupting as I tried to tell her the research I'd done already so the corrections could be done easy-peasy. Finally, in front of my boss, I say... "Can I please finish what I'm trying to say?" and she snaps back a very rude "no, you're wrong" (she based this on me saying, the phrase "earlier this month"). I say "fine" (kinda rudely, I admit) and my boss says "can we all just keep it polite? Take a breath everyone" in his patronizing voice he does so well. So, I go "I'm on my own time as I'm clocked out so I don't have to put up with this. I don't have time for this bullshit." and I left.
Came in this morning and SLL (the lady from above and also the one that pissed herself, btw) says, "good news, I found where the errors were and the deposits were combined" and I go "I know". She says, "how did you know" and I said "I tried to say that multiple times yesterday but you weren't interested in what I had to say so I tried to tell you. How long did you waste doing the research I already did because you couldn't be bothered listening to what I had to say?" She sputtered and I said "look, I don't have time to listen to explanations I tried to give you before so is it fixed or not?" She goes "I wanted to explain first" and I interrupted and said "but I've already said I knew that already. I knew that yesterday. You were wrong, I was right, fix it or don't but it's not my ass going to be chewed on by [boss]." She just stormed out of my office.
Oh the sweet smell of "I told you so"... my luck has already improved for the day.
