Interesting. I'm Pagan, but when I came to write about Draco learning inner peace and forgiveness (inShriven (http://archive.skyehawke.com/story.php?no=13463)) it seemed more believable to me that he'd learn it, albeit in an indirect way, from a Catholic priest than from hanging out with sidhe or wood nymphs. On LJ I had positive comments, but over at The Hex Files I had comments from more than one person who could not accept that a Catholic priest could be compassionate (even though he was based directly on a real priest of my acquaintance - had those people never heard of liberation theology? Probably not...).
