Pairing: Dean and Seamus
Wordcount: 189
Summary: Seamus doesn't want what he doesn't have.
A/N: Day 14 of the Fic Advent Calendar.
In the end, it was the soft glide of fingertips down his arm that he missed the most. The way Dean'd had of touching him, lightning quick as he drifted down Seamus's arm to get his attention or to remind him that Dean was there. He didn't miss Dean, didn't miss the fighting and the disappointed looks, wouldn't miss the comfort of a warm body in the middle of the night that would be far too easy to roll over and embrace.
Besides, Dean'd said from the very beginning that they were making a mistake, changing the rules of their relationship and that Seamus always had to push. He wasn't one for planning, wasn't that what Dean had said? Turned out that Dean was right, always fecking right and saying, "I told you so". Christ but that had always annoyed Seamus, made him long for those gentle touches and the long artistic fingers.
All in all, it was better that it was this way. They still exchanged Christmas cards, after all. He wasn't going to ask for anything more as he was quite sure he didn't want it again.
As always, I'd love to hear what you thought!
