Anyone else watching the Christian/Syed storyline on Eastenders? Someone want to commiserate with me?

God, the wedding just about broke my heart. So well acted and played out.

If you're interested - here are all the various bibs and bobs. If nothing else, watch the wedding (second post down). It's multi-parted and absolutely heartwrenching.

However, I did start the Percy Jackson series, per your recommendation. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

I linked it above. It's a gay storyline that's part of a British soap opera. OMG. I'm like borderline tears over it cause so freaking touching. Sometimes, I think that the actors can't act their way out of a paperbag but then they go and do a series of scenes like the one above. GOD. Break my heart.

And YAYES! My sister just started them this weekend and is already through book 3 which is a huge BFD for her as it's hard for her to read. I'm so freaking in love with those freaking books. OMNOMNOM SO GOOD. Where are you at?

I can't stand Eastenders, but I've been watching it for the Christian/Syed storyline. It's so sad! The wedding, with the confrontations just before... Like you say to waxbean, the acting on this show can be dismal, but they really did well with this, they were very believable.
