wook77Happy Trek and Assassin's Creed II Day!
Been superbusy and running on emotional turmoil. My ferret started having seizures on Sunday and we thought he would pass overnight and then he rallied again. UGH EMOTIONAL TURMOIL!
Still writing my Trekmas. The mods are going to kill me.
I had jury duty today. Wasn't selected. Turns out when the case is about an accident with DUI, they sort of don't want someone on the jury that has had 9 car accidents that aren't their fault. Huh. Go fig.
Still got a day off of work. Plus, I got to go to lunch with a good friend of mine that works at the Public Defenders' office. I really enjoyed hanging out with her for a little bit at lunch.
SOOOOO, I leave jury duty, call my mother and it turns out that she got rearended while driving home from the vet's office. My poor dog with a metric shittonne of medical issues was in the car. Thankfully, he's good and so is my mum. The car has a scratch on it and that's it. So there's that but still, omg. The last accident my mum had was when she was rearended on the 11/15 bridge in Harrisburg on July 4th when I was 15. It was a little old guy whose foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas a bit. Oops.
I got about 600 words written on my Trekmas. Off to finish it with a bit of Trek for a soundtrack! (EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE)
