Deamus at Azkatraz

I'm late, I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!

So, Deamus at Azkatraz. Last year, at Terminus, I laughed and said that "I am the Deamus get together" but people actually seemed interested in having one so… I'm late on getting this organized but here it is.

Below is a poll to gauge some interest in a Dean/Seamus get together. I'd like to see how many Azkatraz peeps would be interested in getting together to discuss Deamus and/or add to some giveaways. Of course, we're not going to be as big as H/D nor will we be as badass as Snarry but I think it'd be cool to sit down and geek out together over our favourite boys.

So that's it. I'm excited to hear what you guys have to say. Right now, I'm thinking that, with roommate permission, I might just volunteer to host this shindig in my hotel room and post the room number and stuff on my LJ for one and all to see. BYOB and food. Thoughts? What do you guys want to see happen?

I just ordered buttons to give out and they are fairly rocking. But if you want one, you'll just have to show up. Supplies are limited, mainly cause I'm poor. I'd love to see others volunteering to bring something.

If I were going to Azkatraz I would so be attending the Deamus Meet-Up. Deamus was my very first HP OTP and the boys still hold a special place in my heart. Unfortunately I am poor and unemployed and could not justify an expensive fan-dom trip. I'm hoping to be back on my feet and gainfully employed by the Fall so I can swing the FiMi Reunion Weekend. I'll be with you in spirit.

I'm glad I caught this post; we've been away since early Thursday and I could have totally missed it!

I imagine it might just end up being you and I and one or two others, but sometimes smaller is better, anyway! I'm only at Azkatraz from Friday night - Monday, so I'd prefer Saturday or Sunday.

I've already ordered a couple of little things to bring with. I may try to find something else, too.

I think it might be easier to do a hotel room (I might be able to ask my roommates if they don't mind, if yours would rather not host) because then we can bring our own food/drink and be as loud/silly as we want.
