Question for the star trek fans

There's an episode of TOS that has the crew of the enterprise stuck in a casino. I have this memory of Jim gambling and playing craps or roulette. What episode is it? I really want to rewatch it liekwhoa. It's research dammit *winks*

I'm fairly certain. There's a scene at the end where they finally escape the casino and the planet is barren and there's this weird fog that possibly is orange.

A Piece of the Action? Although that one's not a casino, it's a planet that's become 1930s Chicago. I don't recall Jim playing craps, but he makes up a game called Royal Fizzbin.

There's another ep where they're at the OK Corral and that may have had some craps playing.

The crew of Deep Space Nine were in a holosuite casino, in the last season because Esri Dax was there, not Jadzia Dax.

I believe this ep is notable for Spock's grave "I'd advise youse to keep dialing." And his rather low opinion of Kirk's driving skills.

K there's an episode I need to rewatch obviously. But this one is definitely at a casino and then the crew finally escapes and the planet is totally barren and there's this weird fog that might be orange. And maybe it's TNg instead. Idk. Obviously my brain is a weird place.

There were several weird orange fog episodes. One was "Squire of Gothos", where an alien traps Kirk, Uhura, Spock and Nurse Chapel in his lair. He plays the harpsichord and and finally puts Kirk on trial. There's "Catspaw", a very Halloween style episode with a witch and a warlock. The one where they meet Lincoln and fight against Ghengis Khan is another one (I can recall the name of that one.

I just don't recall a casino.

It's definitely the TNG episode. IDK why I thought it was TOS (maybe I blocked the fact that I liked a TNG episode? IDK)

I'd forgotten about the Ghengis Khan thing!!!!!! I'll definitely need to rewatch that one, too! EEEE!

There is that scene from "Piece of the Action" where Kirk and Spock are being held in a room and guarded by gansters who are playing cards. Kirk teaches them a "better" game called "Fizzbin".

In "The Gamesters of Triskellion" Kirk, Uhura and Chekov are trapped on a planet where they are forced to fight while aliens gamble on the outcome.

I really can't think of any episode where he is playing craps or roulette.
