Off to go pick up anathema91 in about 10 minutes. Am very excited to see her that IDK that I'll make the two hour drive without squeeing and giggling muchly. We're going to embarrass ourselves, i can tell already.

okcupid boy and I are still messaging and he invited me for a hike this weekend but I told him that I had a guest from out of town. So it looks like that's going sort of swimmingly.

I'm really impressed with the amount of work that's already been submitted for hpvalensmut cause, let's face it, that deadline was and is intimidating.

Am debating signing up for springtime_gen. I really loved participating the last round. It's so much less stressful than having to write smut.

Yesterday, I listened to a very tragic love story that I need to write up and post here. Yesterday was also my mum's birthday so we went to this awesome Irish pub that had the best food ever. The boxty was divine and I might have moaned as I put it in my mouth. IDK what it is about potatoes but the second you put some sort of potato on my plate, I'm in heaven. Potato pancakes? Even better. Latkes? Mashed? Fried? French fries? I can eat them all day.

I sort of accidentally defriended some people when I was cleaning up comms on my flist so I have to refriend a bunch of people because I'm an idiot. Head meet desk. In my defence, it was late and I was rushing through things. Nope, still not much of a defence.

And cause LJ has been having issues (see? I can be polite!), I'm wook77 on IJ, too. There's nothing over there but I did back up the journal to port it if I have to.

How is okcupid working for you? I toy with the idea, off and on, about tossing my name into the ring over there, but I lack the guts and am 50/50 on the people there. I just, I don't know.

It's not :D. I've got hit on by about a billion ickysquicky people. I'm not really enjoying the experience at all. There are a bunch of random crazies. But you can always not message them back so it's not as bad as it seems.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. :/ I know people who've used it and liked it and it seems more likely to draw people that I have something in common with than, say, match.com, but it still seems to be sort of creeptastic as well. Bugger.
