a couple of fest recs

hp_yule_balls opened with a HUGE bang. Sweet Holidays is an AWESOME piece of NSFW artwork with Teddy/James II. I'm not one for the next gen cause, let's face it, they're just names in the books with barely a personality. But omg. This artwork. Dude. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudddddeeeeeee. Hot. Teddy has this amazing nose ring that I cannot stop staring at.

Then there's The Dragon and the Pygmy Puff - Charlie/Harry and about 30k. It hits my tattoo kink HARDCORE. The story really fleshes out Charlie. It's got a lot of tell and "as you know, bob" exposition but it's worth a read if just for the smoking hot tattoos and the way they interact and interesting concepts of wizarding tattoos. Charlie isn't just the Weasleyslut here. He's got depth and awesomeness. It's a great story. Did I mention the tattoo licking? There's tattoo licking. Lots of tattoo licking.

Two very good pieces so far. I have high hopes for the rest of the fest. and my gift.

I solemnly swear that I'm now working on my rs_small_gifts. It's only due in, err, 5 days.

i'm doing a comic for small gifts, it's only two pages but ugh. the damn thing was SO DIFFICULT TO DRAW. why do i get myself into these things. *cries*
