Apr. 21st, 2007 08:29 pmA few songs I've been writing to lately -
Crazy by Ray LaMontagne. Ray LaMontagne's voice just rules the music world IMHO. I adore him when I need mood music for angst. He turns such a happy upbeat song into a solemn hymn(ish). Just gorgeous.
Into the Ocean by Blue October. This song is so pretty and then you realise it's about someone committing suicide. So, err, yeah, download it and hear it though.
On Your Porch by Format A sad song about the death of a father and missing people and doing what you can.
Fingers in the Factories by The Editors It's just perfect mood music for the piece I'm writing right now :).
I think I'm going to have to replace my modem in my computer. It's complete shite. However, if I sit in one spot on my bed, knees halfway drawn up, heels planted firmly in the mattress, and computer balanced on my knees and an empty can of pop (instead of my tummy), I have internet. In fact, I have hi speed internet. So, um, well, I'm thinking I won't replace my modem for awhile because of this.
I went to the casino last night and won $69.69. That makes me giggle.
What did I do with my winnings? I bought another new pair of shoes. Not only are they cute but they're kindasorta professional and adult. They also do not have thick soles or chunky heels. (I'm in shock as well) I will be taking photos of these wonders in the next day or so. Plus, I have photos of my faux hawk to share with you all as well.

Date: 2007-04-22 04:06 am (UTC)That's, um, kind of amusing. Does the can have to be empty, or is that more to keep you from spilling it on yourself? Oh, I guess it could be unopened. That you would be unlikely to spill. I would still find a way though.
Yay! Shoes! That is a naughty amount of money to win, for sure.
