I had a nice, long, detailed, squee-ful comment all ready, but then livejournal gave me an error message when I tried to submit it and then wouldn't give me my original comment back. And now it's way to late to reconstruct what I had, so you're going to have to get the summary version:

- This is really great!

- I liked the Sirius/Remus parts better.

- But probably only because of this line: the awkward moment disappears deep into the recesses of both their minds, only to be brought out when it's dark and they're sure the other is asleep. Goodness, how I love awkward moments that get interrupted and disappear.

- It was probably because of this moment/its subsequent repression that it was sooo burning hot when these two finally do get together. Best scene of all time!

- The Teddy/Snape really kept growing on me as I read, and the unrequited Snape/Lupin really did the trick to make it plausible. Plus, it ended up being surprisingly, amazingly hot - firewhiskey and rich, spicy and dark chocolate?? GUH and yes please! And it had all the qualities of moral ambiguity and pent up lust that make for an unfailingly erotic read. Wonderful!

- Other things I love were the unexpected tenderness of the ending and the way the two timelines interplayed. It was really fun to read!

- How is it that there are suddenly all these fantastically talented authors who I've never read anything of before? I don't know! You probably don't know either! This is not strictly relevant to the comment on the fic anymore and I'm tired and babbling! But I'm totally going to stalk you whenever livejournal decides it likes me again and find out what I've been missing... better late than never, yes?

There. Imagine that this all was said much more eloquently and much more concisely and you basically have my original comment. Grrr, livejournal, grr.
