Speaking of entitlement... who all is going to the Wrock Concert? Cause the person I was supposed to be hanging with bailed on me *glares in her general direction*. So, um, anyone I can go with? I promise I've had all my shots and I barely ever lick myself in public. I can also be trusted to pee on the potty mat or outside.

Entitlement point two - there are only 5 presentations I wanted to go to. How many conflict with another? ALL OF THEM. Dear Terminus schedulers - do you not know that you should be configuring everything around me?! Love and excited to attend (even if I hate your schedule), me.

I sort of outted myself to a coworker. I didn't give the LJ name but they saw the list of presentations and we were talking about what ones are where and who is hosting them.

I'm staying with fiona_fawkes the first night and then off to sleep with my Icee. It's just too bad that auntee_mame and themostepotente and elanorofcastile will be in there, too. :D:D:D:D:D:D But in all seriousness - how awesome is this room?

Anyone fly with alcohol? How do you pack it so that the bottles don't burst everywhere? I picked up a bunch of vodka for feei and me to drink and drink and drink to share around and I'm scared that my clothes will smell like pomegranate vodka.

Whenever I think about Terminus - I sort of look like my icon. Add in the major awesome win that is then travelling to San Diego with my WG and, well, *points to icon*.

pack the vodka in the middle of the CHECKED IN LUGGAGE bag surrounded by clothes as padding. Unopened if possible. If you are really worried get a zip-lock plastic bag and stick it around it. And a towel, and another bag. But just by sticking it between clothes in a soft sided suitacse I've not had anything happen to one yet :)

When I traveled bringing home wine, I put it in the middle of clothes, wrapped in a bunch of plastic bags, so if it burst it wouldn't go everywhere. Be sure to figure out how much you're taking, 'cause you're only allowed so much, I think...perhaps it depends on the airline...*shrug*

I may be some what of an "expert" on packing alcohol. As part of my credentials I would add the four bottles of wine and special after dinner whiskey I brought back from Italy completely perfect (I swear I didn't drink that all myself. Ok maybe I had two bottles of wine in one day, but I was sharing *slurp*. That was along with two blown glass vases. Oh BTW this was all in my backpack (mine's pretty and blue though).

I rolled the bottles up in my clothes. I put my shoes on the outside of my clothes, sole side towards the outside. This helps from any sort of banging and around. Watch where you put the neck of the bottle as that is the most delicate.

Have a wonderful fun time at terminus! Are you going to Lisa's little thing about writing dead characters?

I brought tequila out to Lumos just wrapped in clothes. The wrapped in a towel and stuck in a bag approach seems like the safest, though. Those bottles are thick and meant to be handled by drunks. (so why all alcohol doesn't come in plastic yet I do not know)

Also, NOES TO BE BREAKING THE POMEGRANATE! THAT IZ FER MEEEEEE!!!
