recc's galore

I've been reading a ton of fic lately and here are some recc's that have really affected me, just look under the cut.



The first is one I just read a few minutes ago... nineteen by jezzabe Harry and Draco... it will rip your heart out and hand it to you on a plate. It is wonderful, tightly written and inspiring. Angsty and dark, rated R.

Second - an original fic by hiverfleur. A Summer Rain. Another story that is emotionally poignant and moving. I won't go into too much detail as I don't want to ruin the story. This is the first fic of hers that I've read and if this is her normal, I'll be in fic heaven for a very long time.

Third - Harry-centric (Right now) drabble by dragon_charmer. I'd actually highly recommend all of her stories but this drabble and the hoped-for continuation drabbles detail dragon_charmer's trip to The Witching Hour. You can find "Mr. Potter Goes to Massachusetts" here.

Last fic recc one for now - Neville/Harry. I'm a Harry/Draco shipper but Neville/Harry has been twisting me around for a bit, ever since I started reading jedi_rita's Neville/Harry fic on her lj. This story is from a relative newcomer, kurasuperson. It is Neville is Far too Sensible for Unrequited Love. It's cute and fluffy for such an angsty subject. Her Neville is spot-on for my interpretation of the character. A nice little romp away from my H/D needs.
