Twenty Random Facts about me (inspired by silentauror) .

 

1.) I like asparagus and brussel sprouts but hate carrots and peas. I like to think that this translates to "I like quirky not run-of-the-mill" but some people think this is just odd.

2.) I'm basically an accountant but I'm not good at math. (I fell into the accounting world but I'm not very good at it.)

3.) #2 leads into fact #3 - I've had 5 majors at three different colleges/universities. I still don't have a degree after 10 1/2 years since I graduated high school. (fyi - my majors were Astronomy/Physics (bad at math, remember?), Interdisciplinary studies, Geology and Planetary Sciences, History/Political Science and finally, Marketing)

4.) I love languages and speak enough to get by for Spanish and French. I'm currently teaching myself Russian. Because of silentauror, I plan on learning Arabic soon. If you haven't read it, go check out her brilliant fic Old City Jasmine.

I don't like peas & carrots, either! :) And I do like brussel sprouts. How do you feel about spinach and cauliflower? I'm a fan of both. :)

Mmm, I think I knew about the cheesecakes from before, but I'd forgotten. Now I want cheesecake!

I adore cauliflower but I'm a little "eh" about spinach. I can take it or leave it. My favorite veggie side dish? Brocolli, Cauliflower and Corn all mixed together in one big mess. That with some Pierogies and I don't need anything else. The one downside of living in Arizona? The people look at me really funny when I talk about pierogies, guess there's not a large contingency of Polish people around here.

I'm not sweet... I'm mean and cranky but I give credit where credit is due ;)

I've been running to the pop machine just to get my fill of the Diet Pepsi. Must have more!

I love perogies with an unholy passion. Mmmm. True, you could also just sort of mush them directly onto your thighs as well, but hey! They're good! :) I'm not a fan of corn, but I do realize that I'm in the minority on that one. ;)

That last line is a pretty good prompt. I may have to use it in a fic ;)

I'm with you on the pierogies. They are horribly fatty but they taste so yummy. Have you had them grilled on a George Foreman grill? I highly recommend it if you haven't. The skin gets semi-crispy and crunchy and the inside is all gooey and mushy.

For years, I would only eat corn while on the cob. I wouldn't eat it off the cob. Now, I still won't eat creamed corn. That crap looks like a dog has already eaten it and brought it back up. Ugh, yuck even to think of.

No disrespect taken... that was my basic assumption too. I modeled petite clothes. I modeled runway stuff for stores at malls and petite designers, and also did the Penney's catalog, and assorted ads. They need all heights for the catalogs and ads especially.

Of course, this was back when I was in shape and had muscle definition and stuff.

It's a surprising business about the cheesecakes. People don't realize how easy they are to make... they just take alot of time. I like it because I make, in profit, about 10 to 15 dollars a cheesecake.
