Not to scare my fellow hd_365 folks but I have no ideas or inspiration for the story due tomorrow. Anyone with any ideas? Please?

Also - anyone with possibly helpful advice on a statler and waldorf from the muppets commenting on quidditch thing? please?

I'm just *blah* and I hate that feeling.



In other news - watched American Idol last night. The girls really blow monkey chunks this year. I want the "hoochie queen" aka brenna gone with a passion that scares the crap out of me. I also want "ms. beauty pageant" gone as well.

I love Paris and Mandisa though. Those two women - *loves*. The men are tonight. Hopefully they're better than the girls.

Anyone else annoyed with the constant "dawg" shit that's being thrown around? Seriously? How many times do I have to hear it before I'm allowed to jam a bone up Randy's arse and tell him the true meaning of "dawgie style"?


I just saw hogwarts_today and Insequor was recc'd. Ok, blah feeling is a little less. That was such an emotional piece to write and YAY for it getting listed.

Also - I was cruising The Hex Files and came across a gem of an author. We all know by now that I've had my issues with the Hex Files. However, this being said - there is an author by the name of Brighid. She is absolutely amazing. She writes a Harry that's fairly IC and a Draco that's a bit more fanon than canon but her stories are very poetic and lyrical. You can picture where the story is set, whether in Italy, Australia or Hogwarts. Go check her out.

hpvalensmut is still going on. There have been some amazing works coming out of that. Posting will continue until this weekend. So, err, go check it out and keep your eye out. /cryptic.

hp_springsmut starts posting today. I'm excited about how my recipient will like my stuff. Most of you won't read it, however, due to its pairing and content and that's ok. I'm still really proud of it as it really was a challenge to write. I think it helped me to grow as a writer.

Anyone else a big Wedge fan? Ok, seriously, not that type of wedge. I mean Wedge Antilles from Star Wars. I'm a huge Wedge Antilles fangirl and I'm proud to admit it. If you're a Wedge fan - go read this. It's an excerpt of a new EU Star Wars book that has Wedge in his undies. *drools* I'm so buying this book. (err, jehnt, you getting this book? wanna compare thoughts, etc. after reading it?)

I don't mind a 60-year-old Wedge! He's still cooler than like, lots of other people.

Luke/Wedge? Hmm. Do you happen to have any links to Luke/Wedge stories? I haven't read any and am curious as to the dynamic.

I think my Star Wars OTP is Jaina/Kyp. Sadly, in the Dark Nest trilogy, Jaina was like MENTALLY BONDED with Zekk, so I think unless they can unbond they'll be stuck with each other. I also like Face/Phanan because yes, witty sarcastic love. Plus, there's that cute note Phanan leaves when he dies.

Also, the last time I read the X-wing books I was struck by the sudden urge for Gavin Darklighter/Pash Cracken slash but no one seems to have written any. It's a shame, really, however it's not unexpected because I only found one sentence with them interacting. That sentence was "Gavin tossed his blaster carbine to Pash." ... Yep, even I'm having to stretch into making that sentence slashy in any way.
