update on the writing

I've been writing my picfor1000 challenge and have figured out how to build it into a bigger story and do a collaborative fic with notthequiettype. But, that's a bit hush-hush right now until slashfest allows claiming for Round IV.5 as it's for a prompt for there. Yes, I'm writing the fic before I've claimed the prompt. I'm the mod and there should be a privilege or two with that. One privilege is claiming a prompt that's been around for awhile before anyone else. You guys won't believe where it's going though *grins*. It's le awesome and I'm not just saying that cause it's my writing, I'm saying that cause it's notthequiettype's writing.

I've written the core 1000 words that will be submitted for this photo:



I've been writing using one song on constant repeat - Be Here Now by Ray LaMontagne. GOD ABOVE but this song is lovely. I didn't like the beginning of the song for the first little bit but it's grown on me. The rest of the song is far too lovely.

In conclusion, Ash and ficlette are horrible enablers encouraging me to write in a new fandom.
