You know it's going to be a great visit with your older sibling you see once a year when she says to you (less than 6 hours into the visit) "any adults that are obsessed with Harry Potter are all child molesters waiting to happen" and when you call her on it she says, "yes, you too". Fantastic thing is she really truly meant it. Fucking cunt. I never ever use that word but in this case? Totally appropriate. I haven't said more than two words (those two words were my response to her cheerful "good morning" this morning and they were "fuck off") to her since. Dear Wednesday, please hurry.

I might've bought another pair of shoes this weekend. *shifty look* They were the cutest little pair of fancy sandal heels and they were lime green and I couldn't resist. I really need a shoe h0r icon.

My slashfest works are turning out to all be monsters. Like seriously huge monsters. One is at 10k, one is at 5k and one is at 2k and barely started. My serpentinelion isn't going to happen in time for this round but tweaking shall occur and it shall be posted eventually.

Thankfully, she gets back on a plane on Wednesday morning. I can only hope that comes sooner than I think.

Keep in mind that she said this at the beginning of a trip back from Phoenix that took four hours to make it to Tucson because they closed I-10 and routed you onto the 202 and you never made it back to I-10 without knowing the surface streets. We almost cried when we saw Ray Road and the In-N-Out. Oh Phoenix city planners - you suck.

Unfortunately, this isn't the most awful thing she's ever said. One year, on Christmas, she told my little sister and I that she wished we'd never been born because she hated having to share Christmas with anyone let alone us.

We don't get along, to put it mildly, which is why no one told me she was coming for a visit until a week before her plane landed.

Both myself and my sister are HUGE HP fans.
I'm a slash fangirl HP fan, while my sister thinks the idea of fanfiction is twisted, the idea of slash HP fanfiction is even more twisted, and I'm twisted for reading it. Still, she would never say anything about it beyond" that's a bit twisted, but if you like it".
