Was tagged for the 8 Days of Happiness Meme and as I've only really been pissing and moaning lately, I thought I'd do it.

Things that make me happy -

1.) There's this little known movie that's coming out. I don't think I've mentioned it here before but it's about these people with special powers and they can do some kick ass stuff. It's called X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Yeah, I'm sure I haven't mentioned it before but the US premiere is in Tempe AZ and I'm going. a;dslfkjasd;flkas;kdflj HUGH JACKMAN! LIEV SCHREIBER! RYAN REYNOLDS! TAYLOR KITSCH! DOM MONAGHAN (maybe)! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG Best thing ever!

ok so that one is cheating. How about -

2.) Heroes. The consumption continues. omnomnomnom BTW - I read this amazing story with Mohinder's mum visiting Matt/Mohinder. Now I can't find it! Help?

3.) I'm getting my car's body damage fixed tomorrow. I also get to drive a shiny rental car for awhile. I hope through until Tuesday so I can take that up to Phoenix for the US FREAKING PREMIERE OF X-MEN ORIGINS *spazzes again*

4.) Writing. I've started an original m/m story and am working through a few other epics including a dean/seamus and harry/draco fic, a Sirius Big Bang fic, the prequel to Memories as a Teacup, an X-Men Wolverine/Gambit fic, and a Matt/Mohinder in Heroes.

5.) The budget at work is almost done which means I can go back to being lazy. Err, working.

#1 is funny because I keep forgetting about X-Men while flipping out about Star Trek and Terminator. loll I have such a bad fannish memory.

And are you past the fifth episode in the third season of Heroes? That's as far as I got with the show before I just ran out of steam/got tired of all the crazy shit. Does the third season get any more engaging than that?

I'm working on Saturday, going to Phoenix on Sunday. My sister and I are going the following Saturday. What about the following sunday? So May 10? Unless you are off like a tuesday or thursday night? For some reason, I keep thinking that you work then. IDK which one I have off yet as I don't get my schedule until Thursday of this week. Can I let you know then?

Oh man. :( I didn't get to go, either. It really sucked. Stupid Harkins fucked everything up major.

Oh man. Star Trek and Terminator definitely have me flailing. So much awesome in one summer. And I keep hearing about how this is going to be such a boring summer and I want to shake those people and ask them if they're looking at the same summer schedule that I'm looking at.

I just watched the 4th episode of Heroes. I'll let you know? Cause the writing seems the same to me, tbh. Watching it back to back, there isn't that much difference in writing quality. It's all sorts of weird from the beginning. It's just varying shades of weird. IDK about what they're doing with Mohinder but other than that, it's interesting so far.

Also - still rooming together at Azkatraz?

I watched tonight's episode of Heroes and it was pretty rockin', so I figure I'll go back to watch the intervening ones at some point.

AND YES, there's X-men, Star Trek, Terminator, HP, and a bunch of other less fannish movies that look pretty good this summer. How could they not see that this summer movie scene is AWESOME? (I really want to see the one that is like, Battle for Terra or something, idk, it is animated and has SPACESHIPS and just, yeah.)

And re: Azkatraz, I am having to check financially, I'll get back to you within the next week, if that's okay? And also if you know the details of what days you'll be staying, that would be great to know too. My family vacation is immediately after that so it will take careful planning, lol.
