I let my boss have it with both barrels and stun guns set to kill. Yet I don't feel any better. I thought telling your boss you hated her and everything about your job was supposed to be freeing? Instead, I feel as crap as I did before.

Maybe its not your boss that's the problem? I don't know your situation, but usually when that happens to me its something else that I've avoided dealing with.

I'll still have the same job and the same boss. Which, I think, is why I feel crap.

I just keep getting conflicting signals from her and it's annoying the shit out of me. I get pissed on by the upper management and, ugh, my boss doesn't have my back which I pointed out to her. Anyway - so yeah. I finally lost my temper. It's taken me way too long to do so I thought it would be more cathartic.

Oh no, it's my boss. And the CEO. and the operations manager. Basically, I get chewed on no matter what I do. If you want, I can send you the most recent set of emails that garnered me lectures on effective communication in a written format as I'm obviously lacking in it. And whatever other rambles my boss went into today. Either I give too much information and I'm patronizing them and showing off on how much more I know than them and I'm councilled to give less information or I give the bare minimum of information and I'm told that I'm not friendly and that I was sharp and abrupt and that I need to give more information. This is within a week's period.

So I sort of just had it today and told my boss exactly why I was unsatisfied. I was professional but it was completely summed up in "I hate you. I hate my job. I hate my coworkers. I refuse to try to jump through any more of your hoops."

It's all right. I just keep looking for new jobs. Which I told my boss. I told her that if a job came by with even a comparable salary came through, I would leave without notice.

My DH is going through something similar with his current contract. They pay too much for him to justify quitting though, so he's just counting down the days until his contract ends. He got chewed out for showing initiative.

People can be such terrible managers and don't even realize the impact of their incompetence *hugs*

Inorite? I'm just so tired of having these conversations about the same thing, voer and over, and getting conflicting advice. I feel like we left the conversation at a fairly ok spot but we'll see.

Not at this time. My performance is still extremely high so I don't think they can terminate due to that. It's more that I'm just fed up with the way that I'm told different things all within a week of each other and they're both about the same scenario.

My boss comes back from vacation on Tuesday so we'll continue it then.
