I read the third Nightrunner book and I enjoyed it, as you said I would! :D
lusiology recced me Megan Derr's (maderr) novels. You can read them online or buy the books. So far I've read "Embrace" (in her LJ), and I'm currently reading "Prisoner" which I'm enjoying even more than embrace.
