Feb. 4th, 2008 11:47 amI know I have loads of RPGers on the flist so if you're looking for an interesting game with no wank (I know, fairly unbelievable, isn't it?), active supportive mods and a dynamic storyline, this might just be your game.
Nothing Gold Can Stay - a Post HBP Canon Compliant RPG
Over two years ago, the unthinkable happened at Malfoy Manor. Harry Potter - cocksure, brave and self-sacrificing - went ahead of the rest of the Order to face Voldemort. He was sure, far too sure, that he would be successful. He was also far too wrong as he died that day, along with scores of others. Countless more deaths followed. Those that didn't die, succumbed to the inevitable and adapted to the new government and the new way of life.

Though the basic plot sounds serious, Nothing Gold is also about the daily lives of people in all walks of life. We are plot-driven and looking for roleplayers of all experience levels. We are also het/slash/femmeslash friendly, as long as it is believable based on current canon characterisations. We can promise a wank-free zone along with amazing plots, fantastic players, active gameplay and a considerate moderation team.
Applications are being accepted now for a large variety of characters. Those that are especially sought after (and could possibly cause tears of joy to flow from the mods) are Fred/George/Charlie/Bill Weasley*, Lucius Malfoy* and Narcissa Malfoy*.. There are a variety of former student, Death Eaters, Order members and ambiguous-loyalty characters available as well.
