Ah, the dinner party! Dennis breaks my heart, yet again. It’s so much fun to have the gang all back together again—and you give them such great repartee! Ginny is gleefully brash and annoying, Harry is lovely, Ron cracks me up with his comments on his Yule Ball robes and the whole ‘he’ll be on about plants forever now!’ bit. My fav Ron line, though, is: "Sod off, Seamus. We go two years without hearing a peep from you and you only turn up to insult the Cannons?" He is totes the much needed comic relief in this chapter!
Seamus and Lavender have such a sweet moment at the end there. That was actually very touching. And I admit to a little fangirly flail when the boys were sitting next to each other on the sofa and Dean’s hand was on Seamus’ leg! You are a master at UST! And what great build up to the inevitable coming out again convo. I love how unsure the boys are, both second guessing the other and trying to figure out what each other is thinking. And watching Dean put all this together is amazing.
