Anyone else have cheap and easy holiday wish lists you'd like to point out?
Have been watching Tin Man. Am semi-sort of in love with it even though the acting is horrendous and the costumes are even worse. It's like they tried to be Tim Burton but failed miserably and yet? There's something charming and lovely about the story.
I miss Big Bang Theory. Corporate Sharky-type people? Please stop killing the shows I like. Pay the damn writers what they're worth and for the work they're doing already, for fuck's sake!
Speaking of work, I think I'm a karmic joke. Somehow, my boss thinks that I'm going to supervise SLL (if she gets demoted instead of fired) without any sort of additional pay whatsoever. Um, no.

rs_small_gifts so it's a bit fluffier than I normally write but I hope you all might possibly wander over and take a gander. To lure you into it, the response seems to generally approve of the kissing scenes *winks*. Eventually, I'll post it here, as well. Until then, why not stop and stay awhile and read some of the other stories being posted?
I've also gotten a really nice positive response to Grey Room (another Remus/Sirius fic). As the month had passed, I can now start pimping it so that is awesome that people are enjoying it. It's such a mix/mash of canon and au that I wasn't at all certain about the reception for it.
In other news, my hips are so swollen that the tendons won't pop into place. Sometimes, I could swear that my body is 90 years old. This is why I don't deal well with cold, people. My joints swell.

1. Fell in love -- 4 and it was with Ricky Schroder. We were going to be together forever. Don't tell me this doesn't count. I totally kissed his poster goodnight every night and I talked to him, too. He was my boyfriend. He just didn't know it.
2. Got a Myspace account -- Um, 27 or 28? IDK
3. Got drunk -- Got pissed with my father when I was 5. On my own volition? 17
4. Smoked weed -- Never. No joke. Never.
5. Got french kissed -- 9
6. Went to the hospital for surgery -- I had my first surgery when I was six months old. For something that I've done? 14
7. Got your heart broken badly -- 19
8. Lost a pet -- 7. He was a German Shepard that someone left at the end of our yard (I lived on 21 acres when I was growing up and people were forever leaving litters of puppies and kittens out there). His name was Brambles because he hid in the brambles bush from my mum when she went to grab him so he wouldn't get hit by a car. He had a broken leg and even now, I think German Shepards walk funny. He died right outside the patio doors and I was the first to find him. He was asleep on my older sister's shoes and this memory has now made me cry.

11. Broken a bone -- 6 months old. I had a fractured skull as my mum fell down the steps carrying me. I've only ever had fractured skulls and I broke the tip of my finger when I was 7. Other than that, so far so good. Oh wait. And my jaw. I fractured my jaw.
12. Went to a concert -- IDK but it was the New Kids on the Block. They played the York Fair in York Pennsylvania. Donnie Wahlberg adjusted his crotch right in front of me. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Hell, if Donnie or Mark (or, why not be greedy? Donnie AND Mark) Wahlberg were to adjust their crotches in front of me, I'd still think I'd died and gone to heaven.
13. Got your own cell phone -- Bought it myself and the whole kit and kaboodle? Um, 25. Had one purchased for me? 20
14. Got a speeding ticket --An actual ticket I couldn't talk my way out of? 29 and I'm still fairly bitter. First time pulled over for speeding? 13 (What can I say? We lived in farming country, everyone over 12 and under 15 drove)
15. Run away --10
16. Snuck out of the house -- I never had to once I was of the age to sneak out. My mum was cool like that.
17. Pierced other than your ears -- 17. It was in the common area of my dorm and the only numbing agent was an ice cube. The needle was sterilized with a Zippo. Needle took three tries to go through the inner skin of my nostril and when it did, it pierced my septum too. So, I just had the guy do both at the same time.
18. Got a tattoo -- 18 - it was four days after the nose piercing.
19. Bought porn -- Never. I've never had to buy it.
22. Totaled a car --17
23. Moved out of your parents' house -- First time? 17. Second time? 26. Currently? I own a house with my mum and sister.

26. Had a kid -- Never.
27. Got married -- Never. I've been engaged twice, however.

Otherwise, pure love. It's so interesting and sometimes unexpected, the way they're taking the story. I've got last night's episode still saved to watch - can't wait!
