*blushes* I'm really not that awesome, I sort of got a lot out of this, too. Seriously awesome time and walk and event. The squee-factor is awesome, let me tell you. I'm just feeling very accomplished that I did that walk with barely a sweat broken. Plus - I got to help a good cause and meet cute couples and talk about my dog and see him on the news! So, really, I sort of got paid to do this, really :D.
