Happy Halloween (a day late and a dollar short)

I'd like to wish each and everyone of you a Happy Halloween.





I had to reformat it so I hope it looks right.


That would be me in the center with my two of my dogs, Nala (in the bat costume giving me the evil eye) and Cisco (as Dog-ula and giving his long suffering look.)

ETA: I just realized that my eyes are all squinty. They're really NOT that small, honest!

Cisco, the black terrier, is long suffering. Later on during Trick or Treat, he dressed as a pumpkin to help me hand out candy. Nala put on the "dog-ula" costume and pouted in the corner. My other two refused to wear costumes and got really grumpy with me and hid in the bathroom all night.

At Christmas, expect more costumed dogs pictures. I have costumes for every season (not kidding, cisco has cupid, bunny, shamrock and flag costumes.)

I don't think Nala (the bat) has ever worn a costume before. She took the bat head off about 2 seconds after that picture was taken.

Cisco, on the other hand, has been getting dressed up since he was 10 months old (so about 9 years). He puts up with it and actually likes to wear the sweaters. Anything you put on his head, though, he'll take off in a heartbeat.

Dogs are my weakness too. That would be why I have four of them (two little and two big).

Cisco used to have a Yoda costume that I'd put him in (his ears stick straight out just like Yoda's.)

You really don't have to hide. I love people squeeing over my dogs.

Clancy is pretty. He has these feathery ears and a very sweet placid demeanor.

Kuka changes his demeanor depending on who he's interacting with. He's super active with little kids and yet is calm and placid with special needs kids. Give him a ball and he goes apeshit for it though.

They're good boys. Kuka is training to be a therapy dog and Cisco is a therapy dog. Clancy is a bit too old in his demeanor. Ever since he got cancer, he's been less tolerant of strangers and changes to his routine. We have to keep the routine down exactly or he gets stressed.

And you have a ferret! I love those little slinkies! *G* I have wanted one for years (also since before reading GoF), but the boy has the point, which I grudgingly agree to, that rats and ferrets are not a good idea in the same household.
How many animals do you have then?
We share our space with four rats (recently it was five and it soon will be again), one mouse and a hamster.

Four dogs (ranging in size from 10 lbs to 100 lbs), a ferret, five fishtanks full of fish and the office cat that comes to visit me at home.

I also petsit so people's animals come over for a visit...I've had 8 dogs, 6 cats and 7 ferrets all at the same time in my house.

Yay! Your house is fuller than mine :-) The most I've had was 19 rats at a time - along with a gerbil and two mice.
I petsit other rats as well, it's nice to have "guests" like that. There were five rat girls here last week. I only have boys now, so they were very keen to meet the visitors *G*
