Spent today working at the main job as my boss is in Bali and I'm doing her job plus mine for three weeks. A bit stressed, can't think, blahblahblah. I literally pulled my hair out in frustration/stress the other day. I watched hair sprinkle down onto my paperwork and realized it was time to take a break.
Today, I came home, and in a fit of "see? I can do shit well, sometimes!", I vanity-googled (as you do. Come on, you know you do it) and found that, a long time ago, I won Best Kiss at the Charlie Awards for a Charlie/Lavender fic I wrote. More to Life. It's a fic I wrote for Daily Deviant awhile back. I sort of like the idea of Lavender haring off to go be a Dragon Tamer. YMMV, of course.
But that got me to thinking about some of the stories I've written. There are two that I've written that sort of squick me at the same time that I sort of really love them. Both are Star Trek. One is Lead Me Not Into Temptation which features Jim Kirk at 13 having sex. Which, um, ew, but... hot. And the other is If It Please Your Father which features George Kirk/Leonard McCoy/Jim Kirk in an incestuous DP(one hole) fic. The idea of dad/son cocks rubbing together in my body is GROSS but in McCoy's? Please and thank you.
So what about you? What fic have you written that you're especially proud of? What one has you wondering WTF you were thinking? What one pushes your limits and/or comfort zone?

Just re-read it and it's still gorgeous! So you definitely shouldn't feel bad about it :))
I've written some Sarek/Spock (consensual) fic and while it does have a strange touch, I'm not ashamed of it. The only fic I ever felt embarrassed about was never posted *G*

Of fics that I've written solo, there's a few that I'm proud of. Though one is hopelessly still a WIP. It's a Visions of Escaflowne fic called Twisted Fate. One of the first ones that I heavily plotted and enjoyed the journey I was having the protags go through. One day, it shall be finished. XD
In Harry Potter fandom, I think the fics I'm most proud of are my haiku stories, La Vie en Noir for example (gennish-preship snape&lupin), and a then epic drabble series for Valentine's Day I did long ago where I challenged myself to write stories based off a box of see's candies haha.
OH, I lied. There's two more HP fics I'm proud of, both gen and both with Regulus in it. XD Both were written before DH came out. I think I just loved exploring a character I never gave a single thought to until we find out who RAB is. And there was just so much potential there. Shape of Things to Come is both about Regulus and Severus and of promises. His Story is mostly about Regulus but a bit of Sirius too, and me trying to write an eerie campfire like story of Regulus' life.
Star Trek wise, I do love love the BB fic I co-wrote last year. Though I think the College AU of Doom that needs to be edited, is def one of my proudest... XD
I didn't think I was that proud of that many fics of mine...Haha..
As for WTFnes... I don't think I have lol... Maybe one or two of the b2s drabbles made be more confident in writing some pervy stuff lol, like WS Spock/Sulu or Kirk/McCoy/DoorKnob... XD I pretty much don't write my squicks, the few that there are, but in terms of storytelling and perviness, will try to push my comfort zone hehe.
The only fic I'm kinda not proud of, and more WTF was I thinking in attempting to write, was my first NC-17 fic, and was het. Harry/Luna. So bad that only a friend commented on it haha. I think I liked Keeping Score as an idea more than a fic...
